Tokyo, August 14, 2024 – On August 14, Celsys announced the results of the 40th International Illustration Contest. This contest, held from June 25 to July 17, received 3,811 entries from all over the world. After careful judging, 15 entrants were selected as prize winners, while 11 entrants were randomly selected to receive free licenses for Clip Studio Paint.

Comment from the winner: Let's goooo! I never thought that I could win this! when it came to this competition back then I thought it was too challenging for me, that's why I didn't participate. but now I know my potential, and that anything can be done.
The overall winner of the Illustration Grand Prize receives US$2,000. There were also many entries for the Timelapse Award, where contestants can submit a timelapse video of their process. Winners of the Timelapse Award were selected by lottery and received an activation code for Clip Studio Paint PRO. Meanwhile, five illustration category entrants were selected at random for the Challenger Prize, and one new entrant was selected for the Newcomer Award.
Celsys, the developer and distributor of the illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app Clip Studio Paint, regularly holds illustration contests open worldwide, and will continue to offer more opportunities for creators to showcase their talents.
