Tokyo, February 4, 2025 – On February 4, Celsys announced the results of the 42nd International Illustration Contest, “Cooking & Cuisine.” This contest, held from December 13 to January 6, received 2,283 entries from all over the world. After careful judging, 15 entrants were selected as prize winners, while 11 entrants were randomly selected to receive license gifts.

Comment from the winner: From cutting vegetables to cooking ingredients, a lot of labor goes into preparing a dish. Once it is on the plate you can admire all that fine work. People often get hungry just by looking at photos or cooking videos. I hope the fluffy bread, delicious cheese sauce, and juicy meat patty in this piece do the same for everyone seeing it!
There were also many entries for the Timelapse Award, where contestants can submit a timelapse video of their process. Winners of the Timelapse Award were selected by lottery and will receive an activation code for Clip Studio Paint PRO. The winner of the Illustration Grand Prize receives US$2,000. Meanwhile, five illustration category entrants were selected at random for the Challenger Award, and one first-time entrant was selected for the Newcomer Prize.
Celsys, the developer and distributor of the illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app Clip Studio Paint, regularly holds illustration contests open worldwide, and will continue to offer more opportunities for creators to showcase their talents.
