Celsys released the latest update of the illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app Clip Studio Paint (Ver. 3.2.0) worldwide on December 3. The new update includes improvements to the filters and effects in Studio Mode, a new tutorial and hint feature in Simple Mode, enhanced 3D object and video file support, and more. This Ver. 3.2.0 update gives plan subscribers and Update Pass holders early access to the latest features that will be included in Ver. 4.0, coming out in March 2025.
・Intuitive filters and tonal correction in Studio Mode
Quick Filters and Quick Effects have been added to Studio Mode. Intuitively adjust color tones and effect filters such as blur while previewing.
・More easily import video files
You can now directly import videos taken with a tablet or smartphone. You can draw on your imported videos and add animations.
・Support for morph expressions in VRM files
Character facial expressions can be finely adjusted when using VRM format 3D files.
・Tutorial and hint feature added to Simple Mode
A tutorial and hint feature has been added to Simple Mode on tablets. Hints on how to use the tools will now appear while you use the app.
This update also includes many other improvements and bug fixes.
