Latest free Clip Studio Paint update brings new intuitive interface to smartphones
Celsys released the latest free update of its illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app, Clip Studio Paint Ver. 2.0.5, on June 13. The new simplified smartphone interface offers a more intuitive drawing experience on mobile devices for young artists and artists new to digital drawing. With this new interface, artists of all levels can easily start drawing in Clip Studio Paint and creating artworks in the palm of their hand.
The new Simple Mode allows users to more quickly switch between tools than in the previous Studio Mode, so users can focus on drawing. Simple Mode includes a selection of tools to make digital drawing easy for everyone, from basic illustration tools to popular advanced features such as poseable 3D models, liquify, and smart color filling of closed areas.
