Celsys is to sponsor Connected Ink 2021, organized by Wacom, and will host the 88 Constellations in 23 Hours Challenge on Tuesday, November 16 and Wednesday, November 17, calling on creators from around the world to submit their illustrations. Celsys President, Kei Narushima, is also due to appear at The infinite artistic potential of creators around the world and Kiseki Art: Art is also found in traces of creation – what will come out of the “visualization of traces”? events during Connected Ink 2021.

For the 88 Constellations in 23 Hours Challenge, Celsys will call on artists to post their illustrations inspired by each of the 88 constellations on Twitter using the event hashtags, and challenge participants to complete all 88 constellations during the 23-hour event. The illustrations submitted during the event will be posted on a special event page where visitors will be able to see the illustrations submitted by creators from around the world fill the night sky map.
Several of the best entries will be selected by Celsys to be incorporated into the launch screen of a special edition of the illustration, manga, and animation app, Clip Studio Paint. This presents a unique opportunity for Clip Studio Paint users to get a one-of-a-kind version of the app that displays their own artworks at startup. The commemorative app will be available to download from the event page after the challenge is over.

Celsys President, Kei Narushima, is also due to appear at two other events during Connected Ink 2021. The events can be watched live online or in person at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square in Tokyo. The event is free but Viewers must register in advance with Connected Ink 2021 to watch.

Connected Ink 2021
Connected Ink supports human expression and learning through digital technology, shedding light on new aspects of a culture that creates, loves, and enjoys art, while tackling how to make education more inclusive and flexible for future generations of children through STEAM education. Simply put, it is a cultural event issues are raised, discussed, and new issues are pursued.
A number of sessions start from 1 pm local time on Wednesday, November 17 at the Tokyo venue, with a variety of guests from Wacom, in addition to President Nobutaka Ide, due to give lectures, panel discussions, booth exhibitions, and live performances.
