“Nurimasu!” Coloring Contest with Snow Miku 2019

In the seventh edition of our digital coloring contest “Nurimasu!”, we collaborated with the Snow Miku 2019 winter festival in Hokkaido, Japan.

With three lineart designs of Snow Miku from three popular creators, we received 6,652 coloring submissions over the 22-day contest period.

What is Nurimasu?
Nurimasu! is a digital coloring contest organized by Celsys and ibis mobile inc. Participants can create their entry with any software or device, and so far we have received more than 24,000 entries in all contests.

CELSYS’s smartphone-based drawing app "kakooyo!" was used in the making of "Piapro no Kabe: Digital Version" at Hatsune Miku's Magical Mirai 2016, an event held on September 9-11, 2016.

"Piapro no Kabe" is a popular plan for Hatsune Miku events where members of the audience can draw their own illustrations and write their own messages on the walls. At Magical Mirai 2016, "Piapro no Kabe: Digital Version" was launched, allowing people to add illustrations and messages from anywhere using "kakooyo!". 1,135 items were posted during the three-day period of the event.

Audience members who installed "kakooyo!" on their smartphones could also receive an original Hatsune Miku Stylus pen by showing the app to a staff member (limited numbers, first come first served).
