The 3rd “Lezhin Comics World Manga Contest” is a contest for webtoons (vertically scrolling manga) with a total prize amount of 15,000,000 yen which is one of the largest in Japan. The aim of contest was to develop the industry of webtoons and discover new, bright and promising creators. Works were recruited from not only within Japan, but also from all over the world.
The grand-prize winner received 10,000,000 yen, the second-place prize winner received 2,000,000 yen and the 10 award of excellence winners received 300,000 yen. In addition, each winner has been given the right to serialize their manga in Lezhin Comics.
CELSYS presented the grand-prize winner and second-prize winner with CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX and the excellence winners with CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO. In addition, to assist in the manga creation process, CELSYS provided a 3 month trial version of CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO to all applicants.
Lezhin Comics is a global vertically scrolling WEB manga platform which is managed by Lezhin Entertainment, LLC since 2015.
