The Tokyo Anime Award Festival is an international animation festival presented by The Association of Japanese Animations (AJA) and cosponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The festival aims to discover and develop new talent, and contribute to the development of animation culture and its industry.
The Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2017 was held on March 10th to 13th at Ikebukuro and other locations, with 5 movie theaters and multiple facilities screening animation and holding talk shows. On its final day, the 13th, the Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2017 awards ceremony was held at the Toshima City Office Toshima Center Square.
CELSYS presented its manga, illustration and anime software '
CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX' to the 33 present foreign nominees of the 'Competition' category, which is awarded to exceptional works of animation. The competition category received 671 entries from 52 countries, an increase compared to last year's entries.
