Clip Studio Paint, the illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app developed and distributed by CELSYS, Inc., is globally pre-installed(*1) on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra/S9+/S9 announced at Samsung’s global new product launch event, Galaxy Unpacked 2023, held in Seoul, Korea.
First time users can receive up to six months free use of the highest grade of Clip Studio Paint for Galaxy(*2), Clip Studio Paint EX on the Galaxy Tab S9 series. After the free offer ends, users can sign up for a monthly or yearly plan to continue using the app.
The Ver. 2.1.0 feature update for Clip Studio Paint, which was launched on the Galaxy Store in July 2023, includes a more intuitive user interface for tablets, called Simple Mode. Beginner digital artists can start getting creative straight away with Clip Studio Paint and the signature S Pen included with Galaxy Tab S9 series.

In August 2021, Clip Studio Paint, the illustration, comic, and animation app developed and distributed by CELSYS,Inc., is stub-preloaded(*1) on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE (Japanese release date unannounced at time of publication). This allows users to download the app immediately after purchase.
First-time users of Clip Studio Paint for Galaxy(*2) will receive six months of free access to the top-of-the-line EX version of the app(*3), allowing them to start their creative work on the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, which comes with a large 12.4-inch screen display and an S Pen.

New Normal Campaign to support those living in these new normal times with the power of art. The companies released a special movie each featuring Shoko Nakagawa and COWCOW’s illustration process. The companies made donations to the Japanese Red Cross Society in support of medical professions through the power of art, based on the number of times the movies were viewed.
Celsys, together with Shoko Nakagawa, a Clip Studio Paint user for 8 years and current official support of the app, released a video showing her illustration process. Galaxy also teamed up with COWCOW’s Yoshi and Kenji Tada, known as comedians who are talented artists, to create their own special movie featuring interviews with the pair and presenting their illustration process with the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G.
Prior to the campaign, an event to commemorate the launch of the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G was held at Galaxy Harajuku for the media. At the launch event, Celsys Marketing Director, Tetsuya Kobayashi, took to the stage to introduce Clip Studio Paint for Galaxy.
To celebrate the release of Clip Studio Paint for Galaxy, in partnership with Galaxy and Wacom, Celsys held the 2020 edition of their International Illustration Contest in September 2020. Over 28 days, the contest received 18,606 entries from around the world. Comic artist LavenderTowne was chosen as the contest’s Special Judge to pick the winners of the grand prize and her own LavenderTowne Award.
