CEDEC (Computer Entertainment Developers Conference) is organized by the COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT SUPPLIER'S ASSOCIATION (CESA). It is the largest conference in Japan promoting the development of technology and the exchange of knowledge and information among professionals in the development, business, related technologies, and research for the development of digital entertainment, with a focus on games.

A session was held about using CLIP STUDIO PAINT for artwork and commissioned work in “Gensou -Yumegokochi- Illusion -Dreamlike-”

CEDEC2024 was held in a hybrid offline/online format, with Celsys participating as an event sponsor as well as hosting a session with Seo Seokkyo, CEO of 2D graphics and animation company, Purmoe Design Lab Inc., about visual design using Clip Studio Paint.

The session introduced the creative processes and artwork creation for the territory capture game, “Gensou -Yumegokochi- Illusion -Dreamlike-.”

Mr. Seo Seokkyo cited the following reasons for introducing CLIP STUDIO PAINT into their workflow: many employees have experience using CLIP STUDIO PAINT, making it easy to spread within the company; how highly customizable the work environment is due to the wide range of available materials; and how efficiently revisions to commissioned work can be made.

Brushes, 3D models, and distortion tools actually used in production were also introduced.
